The painting is a still life from a bouquet of (fake) roses in a vase. I used the flowers in a photoshoot many years ago, and the name is a reference to the shoot. I love the muted pastel color scheme, it feels very elegant springtime to me with rich hues but a happy blossoming color combination.

Ariana,
I found you on Inspire Me Monday linkup. Your beautiful painting prompted me to visit and I’m glad that I did. A few years ago I discovered the hidden artist within and have been sketching daily growing more comfortable with my budding skills.
