Great read and super relatable! I was definitely a super people pleaser in the past. But since have grown a bit of a backbone and surrounded myself with positive people and said goodbye to those who bring me down.
Fortunately, people-pleasing has never really been an issue for me, however, I am aware that I make subtle compromises in order to “keep the peace.” Your article has reminded me to set and maintain my boundaries because when I don’t I am essentially acting as a people pleaser. Thanks for the great reminder.
People please gets old really quick and its exhausting
WOW! People pleasing is exhaustive. I will keep your list.
I really needed to hear this today
Needful content. Keep creating content like this! Tons of love for you
I used to be a people pleaser when I was younger because I had low self-esteem. But ever since I’ve started looking inwards and working on myself, I’ve embraced my individuality more and was more confident in my decisions – whether or not I please people in the process.
